Studio 406 Lets Get Your Picture Made

FAQ

Question: What is the maximum running time allowed on the video?

Answer: The video should be between three to five minutes (including credits). All entries must include why the project can't be filmed anywhere else but in Montana. At least 50 percent of the picture must take place in and be specific to Montana locations.

Question: What is the required video resolution?

Answer: We are using a standard YouTube upload feature that follows their resolution guidelines.

Question: Can I submit a trailer? Can it be anything from a scene test or pitch from my sofa?

Answer: Yes. You can submit a trailer and it can be anything from a scene test to a pitch from your sofa. But it must include why you think Montana is the right location for your film.

Question: How much financing do I have to have in place?

Answer: In order for your pitch to qualify you must have at least enough financing that would match the amount we are offering for the prize package. Preference will be given to projects that have been green-lit or have studio backing.

Question: Are the top 10 finalists chosen by online popular vote? And then your judges determine the winner?

Answer: No. The top 10 finalists are not chosen strictly by online popular vote, but this will be taken into consideration when choosing the finalists.

Question: Does the winner also still get to take advantage of the states other rebates and incentives?

Answer: Yes. The winner will be able to take advantage of the state's other rebates and incentives as outlined in the Studio406 incentive package.
